From the brand When we designed Ecopots more than ten years ago, no one had heard about the 'plastic soup'. No one was thinking about using recycled materials for their flower pots and planters. But we did. We saw the need and potential to use recycled materials for our products and continue to do so today. In our philosophy, durability is more than reusing or recycling materials. It's also about designing and producing products that last. So Ecopots are not only sturdy, but are also timeless in their design and use of colors. Beautiful today, tomorrow and in ten years time. Because we believe the most durable products are those products you don't want – or have - to replace every year.
Ecopots follows the Scandinavian design philosophy. In short, this philosophy is about creating a calm and clutter free home as a counter balance to hectic and stressful daily lives. It is being characterized by clean and simple lines, minimalism and the use of natural colours and materials. In November 2020 Ecopots, as the first brand in our sector, received both the CO2 Neutral company and CO2 Neutral Product certification.
Product Description The Venice combines everything Ecopots stands for: excellent functionality with a beautiful design. The Venice is a self-watering pot with an integrated water reservoir and uses capillary action to water the plant so your plant takes the amount of water it wants, when it wants. Its sleek and stylish opening on the side not only makes watering the plant easy, it also tells you the water level in the blink of an eye. The Ecopots Venice can be used both indoor and outdoor. Like all Ecopots, they are made from high quality, certified recycled materials and have a distinctive, handmade finish.
Are Ecopots 100% waterproof? Most of them are, but not all. Some flower pots and planters have a rubber plug in the bottom of the pot and, although it has a tight fit, could leak some water. So we advise to always use a saucer when your flower pot has a rubber plug.
What are Ecopots made of? Ecopots are made from recycled plastics. We use up to 80% of recycled plastics for our pots.
Are Ecopots recyclable? Of course they are! But you don't have to think about recycling Ecopots just yet, with a lifespan of over 10 years, they will last and last. But, rest assured, when they finally reach the end of their life cycle, they can be fully recycled.
Are Ecopots for indoor or outdoor use? Both! Our larger pots come with a plug in the bottom for drainage, so if you are planning to use one of those pots indoors, we recommend using it with a saucer. Apart from that, you can use Ecopots anywhere you want!
