When we designed Ecopots more than ten years ago, no one had heard about the 'plastic soup'. No one was thinking about using recycled materials for their flower pots and planters. But we did. We saw the need and potential to use recycled materials for our products and continue to do so today. Design and functionality are equally important to us. In our philosophy, durability is more than reusing or recycling materials. It's also about designing and producing products that last. So Ecopots are not only sturdy, but are also timeless in their design and use of colors. Beautiful today, tomorrow and in ten years' time. Because we believe the most durable products are those you don't want – or have - to replace every year.

Ecopots follows the Scandinavian design philosophy, characterized by clean and simple lines, minimalism, and the use of natural colors and materials. This philosophy aims to create a calm and clutter-free home as a counterbalance to hectic and stressful daily lives.

In November 2020, Ecopots became the first brand in its sector to receive both the CO2 Neutral company and CO2 Neutral Product certification.

Product Description: Ecopots Amsterdam

The Ecopots Amsterdam is a series of round flower pots and planters made from recycled plastics. With its tapered design, it is considered one of our timeless classics. The series includes a hanging Amsterdam Wall, the regular Amsterdam range, and the Amsterdam High and Mid-High models. Recently, an Amsterdam Wheels model and the Amsterdam Mini series have been added to the range.

Most Ecopots are 100% waterproof, but not all. Some have a rubber plug in the bottom of the pot, and although it has a tight fit, it could leak some water. We advise using a saucer when your flower pot has a rubber plug.

Ecopots are made from up to 80% recycled plastics. When they reach the end of their lifespan, which is over 10 years, they can be fully recycled.

Ecopots can be used both indoors and outdoors. The larger pots come with a plug in the bottom for drainage, so if you plan to use them indoors, we recommend using a saucer.

Amsterdam Varieties

The Ecopots Amsterdam series includes a range of planters and accessories. The 11-inch round saucer fits the 12-inch Amsterdam Planter, the 11-inch square saucer fits the 12-inch Rotterdam Planter, and the 17.75-inch rectangular saucer fits the 17.75-inch Bruges Planter. These saucers are available in Dark Gray, Terracotta, and White Gray.
