When Ecopots was conceived over a decade ago, the idea of a 'plastic soup' was unheard of, and the use of recycled materials for flower pots and planters was largely unexplored. Yet, we recognized the need and potential to incorporate recycled materials into our products - a practice we continue to this day.

However, design and functionality are equally paramount to us. In our philosophy, durability extends beyond simply reusing or recycling materials. It's about creating products that stand the test of time, both in their design and their practical application.

Ecopots embodies the Scandinavian design ethos, characterized by clean, minimalist lines and the use of natural colors and materials. This approach aims to foster a sense of calm and clutter-free living as a counterbalance to the hectic pace of modern life.

In 2020, Ecopots became the first brand in our sector to achieve both the CO2 Neutral company and CO2 Neutral Product certifications, solidifying our commitment to sustainability.

The Ecopots Amsterdam: A Timeless Classic

The Ecopots Amsterdam is a series of round flower pots and planters crafted from recycled plastics. With its tapered design, it is considered one of our timeless classics. The range includes the Amsterdam Wall, the standard Amsterdam line, and the Amsterdam High and Mid-High models. More recently, the Amsterdam Wheels and Amsterdam Mini series have been added to the collection.

Waterproof and Recyclable

While most Ecopots are fully waterproof, some models feature a rubber plug in the bottom that could potentially allow minor leakage. For these, we recommend using a saucer to catch any excess water.

Ecopots are made from up to 80% recycled plastics, and when they reach the end of their long lifespan (over 10 years), they can be fully recycled.

Versatile for Indoor and Outdoor Use

Ecopots are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The larger pots come with a drainage plug, making them suitable for indoor use when paired with a saucer.
